And this time its suppose to look denim. had to really brainstorm on this one. how was i to give a denim effect on a cake/fondant. wasn't really sure if i could do it..but then again i just couldn;t dissapoint the customer who btw ordered it for his beloved wife's birthday (sweet!) so i had to come up with a way. which i did! tiring job indeed times like this i wish i have an airbrush machine or something. all this handpainting stuff is just so tiring. but then again it leaves sort of a proud satisfying moment wer i can say "i did it with my own hands and effort" without help of machines and what nots, if ya noe wat i mean. hahahah. but yea. it was well worth the effort as they loved it! i hope u readers do to. :D

This was a last minute order i manage to fit in due to a postpon-ing of an order so i had a free time slot~ hehe..she originally wanted a bag on top of a cake..like the LV one i did before. But for the bag she wanted it would require the bag on top to be amde out of cake and not purely fondant..as of the cut/design of the bag..which means two cakes and didnt wana go over her budget. so i did the bag itself in 3D. Thankfully i manage to get it done in time. Tho im nto that happy with it..as i culd use more time to do it more detailed. but i js hope the bday girl loved it. hehe.

Prada Cake Bag & Birthday Cupcakes~

Had an email order for a Birthday on Monday. Wanted some red velvet and chocolate cupcakes. And in the email was an attached photo of a Prada Bag to be followed & made into a cake. hehe. Interesting~ another fun project. I was really happy with how this turned out. Thanks to Dahlia for having faith in my cake decorating skills~ =D hahaha.

LV Cherry Blossom Cake~

This was a cake i made for my uni assessment. We were required to show skills of cake covering, embossing (the LVmonogram) and sugar paste modeling (the handle & padlock). We were only given a small cake to work with..And i wanted to do something different, something more extravagant. So i went with my LV cherry blossom bag as my inspiration~ Alot of work but i manage to get it done in the time given. As we have only one class per week, we were given about 4 in-class sessions to get it done. Too bad i couldn't do the bag standing up. :( but i did get a very good feedback from my tutor. =D plus i got to do extra skills than required. Brush embroidery to do the cherry blossom flowers. hehe. i was really happy with the end result.

Juicy Couture Bag Cake~

This was a cake i did for a friend's 21st Bday last year. She loves bags. and she likes blue according to the mum. so i came up with this. hehe. This would roughly cost u about $180-200 as its quite heavy with both the bottom and the bag itself being made of chocolate cake. for a cheaper option u could go for a smaller bag topper where i can make just out of sugarpaste. or just the bag without the bottom circle/"box". :)
